Have you ever wanted to be able to allow access to your property without leaving the comfort of your armchair, workplace or even on the beach in Barbados? Well, now you can.

This is by installing a telephone-based door entry system that uses 4G GSM Networks to call Residents on either their Home Phone, Smart Phone or Tablet. Residents from their phone can communicate with the Visitor and press a button on the handset to unlock the Door where the Visitor is calling from.

Smart Phones and Tablets that are connected to the Internet by GSM or WiFi, will allow Residents to download an app that gives them the ability to see who is calling them from the door. They would also be able to speak with Visitor before letting them in by pressing the ‘door unlock’ button on the app. (Think of FaceTime for Door Entry – but only the Resident has video).

For Residents who only have a landline phone, we can link the video feed from the door entry video camera into the communal TV system. In other words, you can visually confirm who is at the door by turning the TV on to channel 99, for example.

System Design

In terms of the system design; this would allow for Delivery Men to call the Resident they are delivering a Parcel to and be granted access to the building to either deliver up to their flat or let them in (from wherever they maybe – at work or on holiday) and request they deliver it to the or to a secure lobby or ask it to be delivered to a neighbour.

The other main benefits of the GSM Telephone based Door Entry system are:
