Junior Surveyor

Salary: £20,000 – £22,000

 

As a Junior Surveyor you will have the responsibility for undertaking site surveys and the design of security systems. You will work closely with the Estimating Department to ensure detailed and viable quotes are created and customer requirements and expectations are maintained to high standards at all times. You must be fluent in English both spoken and written and attention to detail will be a must as completing detailed site survey forms and collating accurate information and instructions to be used to prepare quotes and produce proposals for each visit will be an essential part of the role. The Surveys will cover Automatic Gates and Doors, Access Control Systems and CCTV systems. Previous knowledge of working with Door Entry Systems/ Access Control Panels and/or Door Automation is desirable although full training will be given on all systems used.

Access Control, CCTV, Door Automation & Gate Automation.

 

AST are continuously growing and looking for experienced Engineers to join the team. We also offer positions for Junior Engineers who are looking for an opportunity to develop skills and grow within the company. Current vacancies:

 

– Door Entry and/or Access Control Service Engineer
– Gate Automation Service Engineer
– Junior Service Engineer
– Planned Maintenance Engineer

 

All the above roles are field based roles, working under pressure and to strict deadlines. You will have the responsibility of installing new systems or undertaking the maintenance of existing systems, working individually or as part of a team.
Our main office is based in West London and you will be expected to travel to the main office on occasion to collect parts and for training sessions and meetings.
Fluent English both spoken and written is a must as you will be dealing with residents and customers and delivering detailed and accurate reports to the Office and your Line Manager.

 

Hands on training by our experienced Engineers on all systems and training on how to undertake the maintenance, fault finding and retrofit of a variety of existing and new systems will be provided.

We are constantly looking for Installation and Service Engineers

If you have previous electronic and door entry systems experience (minimum 2 years), knowledge of CCTV, access control or gate automation systems we might have position available for you. You would be involved in maintenance of existing door entry system (all makes), installation of new, retrofit and fault finding so experience is essential. In return we offer 40 hours p/w (Monday to Friday 0830-1700) with occasional overtime and Saturdays. We provide company van, fuel card, mobile phone, iPad, uniform, Health and Safety training, in-house training on our products, 28 days paid holiday.
